Herbal support is a core healing method in Ayurveda and is at the very heart of the Ayurvedic tradition. Long ago, Ayurveda recognized the influence and potency of healing botanicals. Many Ayurvedic herbs have been used for centuries to promote mental clarity, glowing skin, beautiful hair, sustainable weight, healthy liver function, robust stamina and a vigorous immune system.
This course is for students who wish to go beyond our foundational Ayurvedic herbs class or the basic herbs required for the NAMA Ayurvedic Health Counselor level from another school. It is the next step in the Ayurveda herbs journey for those who have studied at the Ayurveda Health Counselor level.
This course will pick up where we leave off from that level, and includes a dive into pathologies of the cardiovascular, brain, nerve, endocrine (including diabetes) and immune systems.
Over ninety herbs covered, in addition to dozens of Ayurvedic formulas, herbal oils, jellies and salts.
Designed for Ayurveda students who want to continue with herbal studies. Everyone welcome.
