After your consultation, KP provides complete recommendations via a personalized treatment form. He also gives detailed instructions and direct retail website retailer links for herbs and supplements so purchasing is easy.

Quite often KP will suggest powdered herbs or supplements and herb teas to make your experience comfortable.

KP’s suggestions are based on experience with particular products and related efficacy. Avoid purchasing products that are not identical to the item listed on your treatment form. Contact us if you have questions or concerns.

KP’s suggested dose may be higher than most natural health practitioners are familiar with. It is best to avoid instructions offered by salespeople at the health store. If you are concerned, please contact us.

You can multiply your suggested daily dose times the number of days until your follow up consultation.

On the top of your treatment form you will see the amount of time until your follow up consultation. This is usually one month but may be longer or shorter, depending on your health issue.

A simple electronic scale is very helpful and costs around $20. Most online supplement retailers offer inexpensive scales. Be sure to purchase one that measures in one-gram increments or less.

If your daily dose is large, a powdered herb or supplement will usually be recommended. This is done to avoid consuming an excessive amount of capsules.

All herbs and supplements are available in capsule form however.

Most capsules come in 500 mg size so it is fairly easy to determine the amount of capsules to be consumed. Also keep in mind that 500 mg equals 1/2 gram and 1,000 mg equals 1 gram.

KP always wants you to begin with a small amount of any herb or supplement and increase over several days. Side effects are rare.

Online payment while you schedule your appointment is the best way. Once you have selected the day and time, you will be asked to make payment by entering your credit card information. You can also contact us to pay by check.

Any appointments canceled less than 48 hours before the appointment takes place will be charged the full appointment fee. If you are unable to make your appointment due to emergency, weather, or other circumstances outside of your control, you will be able to keep your payment on file to use toward your re-scheduled appointment.
