This six-part course offers a comprehensive introduction to acupressure as a hands-on wellness practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Acupressure uses gentle fingertip pressure applied to specific points along the body’s meridian pathways to support balance, circulation, relaxation, and overall vitality. Throughout the series, you will explore how acupressure is traditionally used to influence the flow of qi and support the body’s natural self-regulatory processes.

The course emphasizes practical understanding rather than rote memorization. You will learn how acupressure points are selected, how different meridians relate to organ systems, and how patterns of tension or imbalance are interpreted within a traditional framework. Attention is given to safe, approachable techniques that can be used for everyday wellness support at home.

While this series builds on concepts introduced in earlier acupressure classes, no prior experience is required. All material is presented in a clear, progressive manner, making the series accessible to both newcomers and returning students seeking deeper understanding.

This class is for anyone interested in learning practical, non-invasive acupressure techniques to support personal or family wellness through traditional Chinese medicine principles.

This six-part series provides an in-depth exploration of acupressure as a traditional body-based practice used to support balance and wellbeing. Drawing from the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the course examines how pressure applied to specific points along the meridian system is used to influence circulation, relaxation, and energetic harmony.

You will begin by learning the foundational concepts of acupressure, including the role of qi, the structure of the meridian system, and how acupressure differs from acupuncture while sharing the same theoretical roots. From there, the series progresses into practical applications, showing how acupressure points are chosen and combined based on patterns observed in the body.

Across the six classes, attention is given to multiple organ systems and functional areas of the body. You will explore how acupressure is traditionally used to support muscular comfort, digestive balance, emotional steadiness, and general vitality. Instruction focuses on observation, point location, pressure techniques, and sequencing, with an emphasis on safe and repeatable methods.

The series also discusses how acupressure fits into a broader wellness context, including lifestyle habits, movement, breath awareness, and self-care routines. Rather than presenting acupressure as a stand-alone solution, it is framed as one supportive tool within a holistic approach to health.

This course is designed as a continuation of earlier acupressure teachings, but it is fully self-contained. New students can enter without prior coursework, while returning students will encounter entirely new material presented in greater depth.
