Prerequisite: basic knowledge of Ayurvedic principles
Lead instructor and course developer K.P. Khalsa, Yogaraj (Ayurveda), A.D., D.N.-C, R.H. has over 50 years of experience training Ayurveda practitioners and is one of the most well-regarded natural healing and wellness teachers in North America. Course material is taught by K.P. Khalsa and I.I.E.I. faculty of trained professionals.
Many students have taken Ayurvedic Herbalism Term 1 and Term 2 from KP Khalsa in different venues. This is the opportunity to continue this study for an additional school term. Term 3 will round out the year of Ayurvedic herbalism.
This course incorporates practical, clinical applications and herbal preparations for Ayurvedic herbs. The focus of this course is herbal therapeutics for body systems, specific healing properties of dozens of individual herbs new to this course and applied principles of Ayurvedic herbalism.
Term 3 includes many additional Ayurvedic herbs not included in terms 1 and 2, and new uses for some well-known herbs. In this term, we explore many new formulas and dive deeply into preparations, such as nasya, oils and therapeutic jellies. The class will include diseases not discussed in other terms. Expand your understanding and use of Ayurvedic herbs to enhance your clinical experience.
