About Julianna Giles, ND
Dr. Julianna Giles (Mantra Padmani Kaur) graduated from Bastyr University with a MSc in Ayurvedic Sciences in 2018 and as a naturopathic doctor in 2019. During her time at Bastyr, she got extensive exposure to integrative oncology, with additional training and experience in mind-body medicine, yoga therapy, homeopathy, aromatherapy, physical medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, IV therapy, jyotish (vedic astrology) and vastu (ayurvedic feng-shui). Her clinical interests include Integrative Oncology, Women’s Health and Pediatrics. She is currently working toward becoming a certified naturopathic oncologist.
Before coming to Seattle to study medicine, Julianna earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Languages and Cultures of Asia, where she studied South and Southeast Asian religions, history and anthropology with a focus on Sanskrit language. While there, she did extensive research on medicinal mushrooms and interned with a local naturopathic doctor as a hydrotherapy technician.
With over 800 hours of training in yoga, Julianna is also certified in prana vinyasa yoga as taught by her teacher Shiva Rea, and is currently studying kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with Guru Singh in Seattle. She is a member of NAMA, AANP, WANP, WNDA and Samudra School of Living Yoga. In her personal life, Julianna practices yoga daily and is passionate about plant-based cooking. On the weekend, she loves to explore the wild Pacific Northwest with her partner.
